COVID-19 - Sports Therapy
Due to Covid-19, there are now some new processes and procedures in place to ensure that all necessary precautions are taken to minimise the spread of infection.

All public areas will be deep cleaned morning and night and high traffic areas will be disinfected between appointments to include door handles and all contact surfaces.

All clients will conduct a virtual consultation prior to attending their appointment, during which a pre-treatment Covid-19 screening will be carried out and all information relating to the presenting condition will be discussed. This is to reduce the actual contact time and to minimise verbal communication during the appointment.

Clients will be asked to arrive for their appointment no more than 5 minutes in advance and on arrival will be required to sanitise their hands and to wear a face covering.

Hand sanitiser and masks will be available on arrival but you are welcome to use your own mask if you have one.

During the appointment, social distancing will be maintained where possible but as the service requires hands on contact, this will not always be the case.

The therapist will wear a face mask, face screen, disposable apron and gloves depending on treatment. If gloves are not used, therapist hands will be sanitised prior to and following any treatment.

Appointment duration will be reduced to 40 minutes maximum to allow for adequate cleaning time between clients.

Clean towels will be used for each client and couch roll will be disposed of and the couch disinfected prior to the arrival of the next client.

No cash payments will be taken and where possible, payment will be taken at the time of booking. Failing that, contactless card payment is available.

The therapist will constantly monitor their own situation in relation to Covid-19 and should circumstances change, will advise all clients immediately.

We ask that if, following treatment, the client displays any symptoms of Covid-19, they advise the Therapist immediately.
