​As a Sports Therapist with 20+ years' experience and having experienced a running injury myself which stopped me from running for 18 months, I know how frustrating pain and injuries can be. I also understand how much of an impact it has on you when you can't run and how it can even start to impact your sense of identity. This is exactly why most runners return to running far too soon after injury or run through pain for far too long.

I appreciate the cost of taking time off physically and mentally is huge, but the long term cost of not preparing yourself to return, or of ignoring signs that something isn't right, is even bigger.

For runners with a current injury who would like to book a 1:1 Sports Therapy Consultation

If you have a recent or persistent injury and would like a thorough assessment including a movement screen and a treatment and rehabilitation plan to get you back to your best, please get in touch.

I'll take an in depth look at your current symptoms, your injury history, lifestyle, work demands and running schedule. I'll identify weaknesses or imbalances and look not only at rehabilitating your current injury but introduce preventative measures to reduce your risk of recurrence.

Running Rehab - 6 week 1:1 programme - Book

For injured runners or runners struggling to return following a more significant injury

 

If you're currently injured or in persistent pain, or if you're reluctant to run again due to fear of re-injury, this is the perfect plan for you.

​

I'll begin with an initial consultation (via video call) during which we'll discuss exactly what's been going on for you and the impact it's had. We'll look at your activity and injury history and carry out some movement assessments to gain a deeper insight into your current ability. We'll discuss what you've tried already and put a plan in place to move you from pain (or fear of pain), to running again with confidence, clarity and long-term resilience.​

  • A home exercise programme specifically designed to meet your individual needs

  • Self-massage/mobility techniques 

  • 1:1 coaching (weekly)

  • Individual return-to-run plan

  • Detailed strength + gait-support work

  • Ongoing programme adjustments
